A solid .925 sterling silver bar signet ring with a wide, flat top that runs along the finger rather than across it. The bar is the modern signet — a long clean plate with no curve to it, which suits a name, a date or a row of initials better than a compact oval does.
Closed back, so the plate sits flat and gives an engraver a full depth of metal to cut into. Left plain it reads as a clean flat-top band.
Solid 925 sterling silver with an anti-tarnish coating, so it keeps its shine with very little care. Cast solid, hand-polished and fully sizeable.
