The Miami Cuban is the flat, interlocking link that made Miami jewelry famous — each link pressed and soldered against the next so the chain lies flat on the collarbone instead of rolling over like a rope. This one is built on a solid 925 sterling silver base and finished with a layer of yellow gold plating, which is why it reads gold at a fraction of solid-gold money.

- Widths: 4 MM, 5 MM, 6 MM, 8 MM and 10.5 MM. The 4 and 5 MM sit quietly under a collar; 8 MM and up is the statement piece you wear over the shirt.
- Lengths: 16 to 30 inches. 20″–22″ is the common men's neck length, 24″–30″ sits on the chest.
- Clasp: box clasp with a safety catch — the standard on Cuban links, because a lobster clasp isn't strong enough for the weight.
Caring for plated silver
The gold is a surface layer, not the whole metal. Take it off before showers, the pool, the gym and cologne, and wipe it with a dry soft cloth after wearing. Treated that way the finish holds for years; soaked in chlorine or sweat it will wear through at the high points first.
