A plain 8 MM band with no stones at all — a brushed silver-tone centre stripe with polished edges on either side. Why men buy tungsten for daily wear
At around 9 on the Mohs scale, tungsten carbide sits just below sapphire and well above every precious metal. A gold wedding band worn daily picks up a haze of scratches within months; tungsten looks the same in year five as in week one. It's heavier than it looks, too — people usually notice the weight first and read it as quality.
Note on width and sizing
An 8 MM band covers more of the finger than a 4 or 6 MM one, so it can feel tighter at the same nominal size. If you're between sizes or only ever wear narrow bands, go up a half to a full size. Tungsten cannot be resized afterwards.
