A striking crucifix built around genuine lavender jade. The soft violet stone is carved into the full cross form, then finished with 14K yellow gold caps at each arm end, a matching gold bail, and a finely detailed gold corpus applied across the center.
The contrast between the cool lavender jade and the warm polished gold makes this a true statement piece. Jade is prized for its smooth, satiny surface and its long association with protection and good fortune, which gives this crucifix meaning beyond its religious symbolism.
Measures approximately 42.9 mm (1 11/16") tall including the bail by 24 mm (15/16") wide, with a jade cross element of about 37.5 mm (1 1/2") by 24 mm (15/16") and a 7 mm by 4 mm bail. The 14K gold components average 3.25 grams. Because jade is a natural stone, color, tone and veining vary from piece to piece and no two are identical.
