Rolo links are uniform round links, each set at a right angle to the last, so the chain lies flat against the chest and moves freely instead of twisting. It is one of the oldest patterns in chain making and one of the few that looks as good on its own as it does holding a pendant.
Cast in solid 14K rose gold with diamond-cut faceting on every link. The copper in the alloy gives rose gold its warm tone, and at 14 karat there is more gold in the mix than in 10K — 58.3% against 41.7% — so the color runs deeper and the metal wears harder.
