A square signet ring in solid 14K yellow gold. The flat square face is the sharpest-looking of the signet shapes — it reads as deliberate and modern, and it takes a single bold initial better than any other outline.
14K gold is 58.5% pure. That is what gives it the deep, warm yellow people picture when they think of a gold signet, and enough gold content to hold its value. It is also hard enough to take daily wear and an engraver's tools without deforming.
The three sizes
- Small — 6.5 x 7.0 mm, about 1.4 g. A slim pinky signet, and the size most women choose.
- Medium — 9.5 x 9.5 mm, about 3.8 g. The everyday square: neat but clearly there.
- Large — 12.0 x 13.0 mm, about 7.3 g. A proper men's face with room for a crest.
Closed back, cast solid, hand-polished and fully sizeable, in sizes 5 through 15 including every half size.
